The British and Irish Group for the Study of Personality Disorder was formed in 2000 to provide a forum for a focus for academic activity and professional networking in the field of personality disorder.

The group organises one main event each year which is a stimulating conference with relevant keynote talks from a variety of fields, presentation of new research and workshops.

The conference welcomes researchers (new and established) and clinicians and is often preceded by clinical workshops or master-classes but aims to collate the latest evidence with respect to the diagnosis and treatment of the personality disorders.

At the conference the group also makes an annual award for the best presentation by a Junior Scientist and an award to a Senior Scientist in the field who has made a significant and substantial contribution to the literature on Personality Disorders.
We will present the innovative technique to treat, among others, some personality disorders. REMA will be presented by the creators:  Prof Alicia Quaini and Dr. Ulises Diego March 22, Thursday , at the Conference.
